Organisation Design for Planning |  Mechelen  |  3 December 2026

How you organise planning shapes how well it performs. Silos per function or site, end-to-end roles, or a hybrid model with a central hub and local planners? And do planners need to sit close to the plants, or can they work remotely? Tonight, two senior speakers share their insights, followed by round tables with all participants.

Keynote 1

Centralise the Capability, Not Necessarily the Decision
Designing planning organisations around business performance

Drawing on experience across industries, Andy explores which planning capabilities benefit from being brought together, which activities should stay close to the business, and where accountability for decisions should sit. He examines the importance of local knowledge and relationships, the need for clear decision rights, and how technology and automation may change these choices.

Andy Moyes

Former Director, Alvarez & Marsal

Andy is an independent supply chain and enterprise planning transformation leader with 25 years’ experience in consulting and interim management, following an operational supply chain career in electronics manufacturing. Keynote 2

Lessons from Four Redesigns
Go-Live is only halfway

No two redesigns are the same, but some principles hold. Ben walks through the four supply chain redesigns he led and shares his key lessons: why buy-in comes first, why culture matters as much as structure, and why perseverance matters more than the projected ROI.

Ben Vanden Berghen

Ben is Operations Director at Novatech (sealants, adhesives and surface treatment). He grew from Supply Chain Manager to Operations & Supply Chain Director, with earlier roles at Oleon (Avril group) and Marlux-Stradus (formerly CRH).
